STUDIO 41 CELEBRATES 5 YEARS Artist Collective Studio 41 launches its 5th year with Fall Colours: Season 5 in the main gallery. Fall Colours reflects the diverse range of art by Studio 41’s artists, abstract and representational painting, collage, mixed media, prints and ceramics. The exhibit will be on view from September 12 through December 20, 2026. Member artists include: Casey Concelmo Daniel Cordani Mark deBattista Katie Marie Frank Amy Geller Nancy Gesimondo Dianne Martin Mary Pinto Sheila Ross Jim Seffens Meryl Shapiro In the Members Project Space, Sheila Ross will show a new installation, Blorbo . Blorbo is an installation of dozens of cute, weird, creepy and inventive sculptural forms populating the ceiling to the floor. The title Blorbo is a slang word in pop culture social media originating on Tumblr for a person’s favorite fictional character, often used to express affection or obsession within fandoms. In the Back Wall Gallery, guest artist Maguy Berry will show a series of woodcuts and screen prints in an exhibition titled Landscapes and Floating Weaves. Berry’s prints are inspired by the natural world of her native French countryside. Through the labor intensive process of printmaking, she investigates and captures unexpected and magical results. Studio 41, located at 27-15 41st Avenue in Long Island City Queens, celebrates 5 years since its inception. Over the past 5 years Studio 41 has showcased its members’ work and has featured 19 visiting artists in our revolving Back Wall Gallery.
